Tower Paint Company, Inc. is an innovative distributor of automotive refinish products. In 1953, Wally Zahn established the company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and it has been a well respected company for over fifty years throughout the central Wisconsin area and beyond.
Tower Paint Co. has been an industry leader as a local, regional and national source for automotive aerosol spray paint and touch up bottles. As the areas first authorized DuPont distributor, promoting trade names like "Lucite", "Dulux" "Imron" and later "Centari" and "Chromabase", we have experienced many technology changes that the industry and DuPont have gone through over the years, and YES we still mix Lacquer.
We are proud to provide top-notch service and superior products to local collision repair facilities. In June of 1988, Tower Paint Co. joined with PPG Finishes to distribute their products that included product names like, "Duracryl", "Delstar" and "Deltron".
Since it's inception, Tower Paint Co. has focused on building one of the world's largest automotive paint formula libraries. Every custom match that is created and produced, has a unique formula so that if additional paint is needed, it can be perfectly matched again and again.
After a devastating fire, our building was destroyed. Fortunately no one was injured, and because the paint formulas were in a metal storage file, they made it through as well. Not long after the fire, Tower Paint Co. was sold to APS Fox Valley, Inc. APS Fox Valley, Inc. is another reputable DuPont and PPG Distributor that was established in January of 1989. The name of the company was changed to APS Tower Paint Company, Inc., and is currently located at 2120 West Nordale Drive, Appleton, Wisconsin.
